I like thinking, and solving problems.
I’m from México, but I’ve lived in Toronto for the past 5 years. I’m fluent in English and Spanish (click here to see this page in Spanish). I’m not so fluent in French, mais je me débrouille.
My work is based on consuming, observing, talking, understanding, and writing. This helps me connect brands with people in innovative ways.
Creative Direction & Strategy
I've been in the advertising industry since 2013, bouncing through different agencies -from experiential (Arc WorldWide) and digital (Nurun) to creative (Leo Burnett) and in-house (Publicis Emil), and most recently, within the platform side (Twitch Ads / Amazon Ads). Currently I work at Spotify Canada. These global experiences have armed me with a unique perspective, that allows me to help brands innovate with authenticity and effectiveness. All my work is based on insights, and all my insights are based on data (and gut).
I’ve worked with many brands, in many formats and with lots of talented people. I've made: TV commercials, radio spots, OOH, websites, video games, events, packaging, social media content, and live scripted and unscripted content.
While I no longer think of awards as the best way to measure my professional success, it’s fulfilling to see my work recognized. I've been part of campaigns shortlisted in the Effies, earned internal awards, and won a Cannes Gold Lion in 2023.
I’ve been a gamer since I can remember and I love going to the movies to eat popcorn. I hate combing my hair, and lately, I’ve been into improv and stand-up.
